THAMES TORSO IDENTIFIED
As Thames Police continued their search along river embankments, a blood stained purse was discovered this afternoon. As revealed to this correspondent, the contents of the purse identifies its owner as one Pamela Dean, of Hampstead Road. The Metropolitan Police have unofficially confirmed that Pamela Dean was a filing clerk with the Naval Department.

At this time the Naval Department’s official response indicates that until there is further evidence identifying the deceased is Pamela Dean, it would have no comment.
